Work from Home HR Generalist Needed for Innovative Company

FROM, The Digital Transformation Agency, Inc. has offices in New York City, New Jersey and Orlando, Florida.  We are currently looking for an HR generalist based in the northern NJ or New York City area to work about 25-30 hours per week.   There is also some basic administration work involved.   Benefits are available.  Most of the time, you will be able to work from home, although occasional travel to our NYC or Mahwah, NJ office is needed.

Key Skills Needed:

  • Must have intermediate Excel experience, including pivot tables. Experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, excellent computer skills and an attention to detail.

  • Must have 1+ years’ experience in an HR Generalist role/Office Management role.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • SHRM certification preferred.

Job Duties:

  • Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, including onboarding/employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, annual performance appraisals, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.

  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

  • Various administrative tasks, as required.
